Everything that moves vibrates, from the smallest molecule to the universe itself. American Heritage Dictionary defines vibration as some type of movement of motion. All objects, even apparently solid objects, have motion occurring within them. This motion is a byproduct of activity on the atomic level. Even a single atom has activity, as its corresponding electrons rotate around the nucleus of the atom, similar to the way planets revolve around the sun.
Healing is the state of coming in to balance and harmony, returning to our original state of perfection. This can be done by reminding the body of its former perfect state before illness. Healing through vibration is bringing back the memory of health using the different modalities of vibration/electro-magnetic, light (color), sound, and feeling.
When an organ or body part is healthy, it creates a natural resonant frequency in harmony with the rest of the body. When the vibration of a part of the body is out of harmony, we have dissonance or die-ease. With disease, a different sound pattern of vibration is established in the affected part of the body. When the proper sound or vibration is projected into the diseased area, correct harmonic patterns are restored.
Healing through sound is performed in two ways. One is using frequencies in human hearing range to stimulate the brain and restore the memory of that frequency (brainwave entrainment). The second way is to physically match up a part of the body, whether it be a chakra, meridian point, or human organ, with the frequency or vibration at its perfect state, allowing it to come back in to rapport with original perfection.
How does it work?
With a harmonic healing, we use a tuning fork as a tool for bringing the client back in to harmony. By placing a tuning fork’s handle on a chakra or organ, it initiates sound frequencies that stimulate the client’s body to create the frequency it needs to bring itself in to alignment. The electro-magnetic field of the body is recharged and the flow of Chi (energy) is re-established.
What does the client experience during a session?
A wide variety of experiences during a vibration healing session are possible, including: a warm or tingling sensation felt in localized areas or throughout the whole body, seeing colors or geometric shapes, dream-like state (as the subconscious mind is reorganizing itself), often deeply held emotions rise to the surface to be gently released.
What happens in a healing session?
The client is fully clothed and relaxed on a massage table while music or specifically intoned sound is played in the background. The practitioner will use the tuning forks following the chakra system to stimulate, clear, and re-align the client’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual layers (the four components of the energetic body).
